What is Sophrology?
Sophrology is a scientific method using physical and mental exercises based on East and West philosophies. Meaning ‘Energy in Harmony”, it uses techniques from the East (e.g. meditation, yoga, zen) and West (e.g. relaxation, phenomenology, cognitive psychology, autogenic training).
This structured combination of exercises can be adapted to daily life to produce optimal health and well-being with the overall aim to become physically and mentally healthier and stronger.
Exercises are short, easy to remember and can be done anytime, anywhere. When practised regularly, Sophrology can lead to a healthy, relaxed body and a calm, alert mind.
