What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is an alternative and natural therapy that uses gentle non-invasive muscle testing to test your body for imbalances and stresses within the body. These imbalances may be a result of nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, emotional upset, food sensitivities, structural misalignments, poor energy flow or negative self-beliefs.
It is through this muscle testing that your practitioner is able to determine what the body is going through, whether it be emotional, mental, nutritional, physical or a spiritual issue.
What can it treat?
Kinesiology is a very diverse healing modality. Here are some of the reasons people have seen our Kinesiologists for treatment:
Fertility, pain management, nutritional support, digestive issues, anxiety, depression, enhance learning, learning difficulties, stress, anger management, fears, phobias, weight loss, increase sporting abilities or career performance.
What will the session be like?
At your first session you will be required to complete a comprehensive information sheet, which includes things like personal information, medical history, past traumatic events, diet preferences and your interests. This is required so your Kinesiologist can have a detailed overview of why you have come for a session. Together you will then set a goal for the session, this is something that you would like to work towards for the session. Together you will then discuss the emotions involved in the problem as your Kinesiologist makes the necessary corrections around your body.
Subsequent sessions will continue on from the first session by either using the same goal or another appropriate goal.
In all your sessions you will remain fully clothed at all times. Please wear something comfortable to each session.
What benefits may I receive?
Kinesiology has the ability to assist you in shifting blockages that have been inhibiting your body’s natural healing ability. It can also assist you in reaching your full potential.
Clients have reported that they have overcome longstanding emotional issues without even realising how. This is one of the intriguing benefits of this intriguing therapy.
How many treatments will I need?
Each person’s healing journey is unique as their personality. Most clients report experiencing improvements in the first session of their Kinesiology treatment. What people are saying about Kinesiology sessions with Carolyn
Carolyn was amazing and I didn’t expect it. I went in with a headache and it was gone by the end of the session. My body felt so light. I could really feel the energy. Even though she was working at my feet my heart felt warm. There was a lot of heat. Carolyn is very good. I really connected with her. She is very open and knowledgeable. I highly recommend a session with her.
Kinesiology & Anxiety
Kinesiology is a unique healing tool which is able to tap into your body’s innate intelligence to find the specific causes that trigger your anxiety.
We are all individuals with different life experiences and therefore one person’s anxiety will have a different cause to someone else’s. This is what makes kinesiology an exciting therapy for dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. Carolyn is able to ask your body where the anxiety is being held, what physical structures are affected, what hormones are out of balance. If there are any food intolerances or nutritional deficiencies that may be contributing, what belief systems you’ve developed that are causing you stress, the emotions that are connected to the anxiety/ panic attacks and specific ages where the symptoms have been triggered. Carolyn then rebalances the energetic system with corrections specific to your body’s needs which calms the nervous system and removes the built-up destructive cellular memories that are contributing to your symptoms.
We recently ran a Kinesiology & Anxiety trial, where participants came for weekly 60min Kinesiology sessions for 4 weeks. Click here to view the results.
