What happens during the Program?
Our Program consists of a 60-minute session and 2 follow-up 30 minute consultations. During the first session you will be asked about your smoking history and what triggers you to light up. You will also be asked why you want to stop. Many smokers have mixed feelings about quitting but your therapist will work with you to strengthen your commitment to stop smoking.
During the session, you will experience Hypnosis, which is a lovely relaxed, day dreamy state of mind. You will be given a number of suggestions and ideas related to smoking that will stay in your subconscious mind. These ideas and suggestions work automatically to eliminate or reduce your desire to smoke.
You will also be taught some quick and effective stress management techniques and a number of tips to make the transition to becoming a non-smoker as easy and comfortable as possible.
Included in your session is a Hypnosis CD or Audio Download for home use to reinforce the changes.
During the second session, which will be 24 hours after your initial session you will be taught a powerful acupressure technique to clear any residual cravings.
During the third session, a week later, you will learn self-hypnosis. Your therapist will fine-tune any suggestions to ensure that your success is permanent.
