11.11.11: Introducing Sylph (The Weird Stuff Begins)

Those bloody numbers have been appearing everywhere for me for most of this year – On clocks, on the washing machine, on Facebook. A couple of months ago, I unrolled a beautiful painting of Buddha with Balinese calligraphy – ready to be framed after years in hibernation and my forgetting what it looked like – and at the bottom of the calligraphy were the figures: 11011.
Being intuitive, I often receive signs from my angels and spirit guides, but before this year, they have never been in the form of numbers. Interestingly enough, my siblings regularly receive numbers: 3.16 for my brother and 4.44 for my sister. Assumedly, I never received numbers before because I am actually dyslexic with numbers – anything above two digits and my mind scrambles the numbers around (so looking for long street numbers and memorizing telephone numbers and God forbid, credit card numbers, are painful activities for me). Assumedly, 11.11 was the first number sign to be given to me for precisely that reason – to accommodate my number dyslexia. Read more

11.11.11 Meditation

Creating a better world one person at a time.
At 11am on this date we held a very special meditation in our classroom space above the shop. We were joined by around 25 people and we sat quietly for 30 minutes or so, focusing on healing our own lives in order to make the world a better place. The number one is about new beginnings and also reminds us that we are all connected. We are all one. I believe that clearing our own negativity and raising our vibration creates a ripple effect that radiates into the ether and can be felt by everyone. This lifts the collective consciousness to a higher level and has the potential to heal the world. Once we have 144,000 fully enlightened people on the planet, that is the critical number needed to raise the consciousness of everyone. Read more

2012 Myths Busted

“What do you guys know about 2012?” I asked the students at Crystal Girls Club last year.
“2012… isn’t that when the sun, like, opens its mouth and swallows the earth?”
“No.”
Even at karate class last week, the 2012 topic came up. My teacher said that his wife has already bought him a planner for 2012. One of the senior students piped up: “2012 – isn’t that when the world is meant to end?”
“No.”

Children Who Remember Past Lives

The idea that we live many lifetimes is commonly accepted by many religions around the world. Christianity is perhaps the only religion that does not accept this belief. The Christian Church apparently decreed in the 6th Century that any belief in past lives was heresy and all references to it were removed from Christian texts and scriptures. Whatever you believe about past lives, I find it intriguing that certain children seem to have quite clear memories of other lifetimes. Read more
